Rapidnet offers a seamless process for users to sign up for their Home Voice service through WHMCS. Whether you're an existing customer or new to Rapidnet, the steps are straightforward and designed for convenience. This KB article will guide you through the process, ensuring a smooth registration experience.

For Existing Customers: If you're already a Rapidnet customer, follow these steps to sign up for the Home Voice service:

  1. Sign in to your Rapidnet account at https://my.rapidnet.co.za.
  2. Navigate to the "Services" tab located on the top navigation bar.
  3. Select "Order New Services" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Choose "Home Voice" from the available options.
  5. Select Order Now, then start the checkout Process. 

For New Customers: If you're new to Rapidnet, here's how you can sign up for the Home Voice service:

  1. Visit https://my.rapidnet.co.za/store/home-voice.
  2. Add the Home Voice service to your cart by clicking on the respective button.
  3. Proceed to the checkout process.
  4. During checkout, you will be prompted to register as a new customer.
  5. Complete the registration process by providing the necessary details.
  6. Once registered, you will be redirected to the payment options.

After successfully submitting and paying for your Home Voice service order with Rapidnet, the activation process is initiated. This KB article outlines the steps involved in providing the necessary RICA (Regulation of Interception of Communications and Provision of Communication-Related Information) information to activate your service promptly.

Activation Process:

  1. Order Confirmation: Upon submitting and paying for your Home Voice service order, you will receive an order confirmation via email. This confirms that your order has been received and is being processed.

  2. RICA Information Request: Within 1 working day (usually less), you will receive an email requesting your RICA information. This information is essential for compliance purposes.

  3. Submitting RICA Information:

    • Option 1: Reply to the email request with a copy of your ID and proof of address.
    • Option 2: Alternatively, you can log in to the Rapidnet Portal at https://my.rapidnet.co.za.
    • Update the ticket that would have been created for you to submit your RICA information.
    • Provide a copy of your ID and proof of address through the ticket system.
  4. Activation: Once your RICA information has been successfully added to the system, Rapidnet will proceed to activate your Home Voice service.

 

On the successful activation of your Rapidnet Home Voice service, an activation confirmation email will be sent from Rapidnet, along with additional resources to enhance your experience.

  1. Email Notification: Following the activation of your Home Voice service, you will receive an email from Rapidnet. This email serves as confirmation of activation and contains vital information to get you started.

  2. Contents of the Email:

    • Voice Portal Address: The email will include the address of the Voice Portal, where you can manage and customize your Home Voice service settings.
    • SIP Login Details: Your SIP login details, essential for connecting your devices and accessing the Home Voice service, will also be provided.
    • Additional Resources: Rapidnet will include links to relevant knowledge base articles to assist you further in using and maximizing the features of your Home Voice service.
  3. Exploring Additional Resources:
